With apps and data to be protected, and infrastructures to be monitored, ISS professionals have to deal with a dichotomy between business demands and agility needs. However, we shouldn’t view this new environment combining the Cloud and mobility as a risk. In fact, it is a real opportunity for companies to rethink their security architecture and reduce their exposure to threats while protecting their flexibility and an optimal user experience.
Still, the stakes are high because this new paradigm requires both a network supervision strategy and a combination of mobile security, identity control and access. And CISOs need to take up this challenge right away so that they can effectively and confidently assist their organisation’s digital transformation.
